What tool(s) would be ideal for cutting out wooden plaques?
My class is running a business. We are making wooden plaque (like the ones that say some quote that you hang on the wall.)
That really depends on the shape of the plaque.
If it’s straight on the sides a table saw will work. If if’s circular, a bandsaw with a circle cutting jig. If it’s wavy a bandsaw either freehand or with a template. If it’s wavy an over head router would work, or a router with a pattern cutting bit.
