What The Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven Can Do For You
Boasting a chic stainless steel design, the Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven has been designed to be strong and stylish. The oven is controlled through a straightforward and intuitive control panel. There’s no need for you to enter times or temperatures because the oven’s nine pre-set programs take care of this. You can adjust the time and temperature settings yourself by using the simple dials and they will be stored for future usage.
When cooking your food, you can place the wire rack in one of three positions and the Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven will let you know where to place it in accordance with the selected program. You don’t even need to worry about placing the rack correctly because the places are marked on the oven’s door.
The nine pre-programmed settings include toast, bagels, pizza, bake, roast, broil, cookies, reheat and warm. There’s an additional setting for frozen products such as bagels and pizzas ensuring that even frozen food will be cooked to absolute perfection!
The Breville BOV800XL incorporates Element IQ technology. This technology provides independent operation for each element so that heat can be distributed to the areas where it is most needed. Controlling the heat in this way ensures that whether you are toasting, broiling or roasting, your food will be cooked to perfection.
Such efficient usage of heat eliminates wasted energy and will contribute to reducing your energy bills.
Another neat feature of the oven is the hidden door magnets that pull-out the wire rack automatically making it easy to remove the cooked food. However, some customers do not like this feature because they say the rack pulls out too far. Parents with young children are especially concerned about this. The wire rack will pull-out too far if the oven door is opened very quickly so to solve this issue, just open the door in a steady manner.
Breville do recommend that you allow 4-5 inches of space around the oven because it does get very hot when in use.
An enamel broil rack and baking tray and a 13″ pizza tray are supplied with the Breville BOV800XL. It’s ever so simple to clean the oven because the crumb tray removes from the front and it’s generous depth means food bits won’t collect under the appliance.
