Why does my stainless steal All-clad frying pan stick when I make omlets?
i have an All-clad stainless steel frying pan (it is not the Teflon coated one) and I want to make an omelet. I use plenty of non-stick spray, but the omelet still sticks too it. Is there anything I can do to make an omelet with my pan?
i have all-clad as well, and seasoning is not going to get the job done when it comes to eggs.
as a matter of fact, seasoning an all-clad pan is not only unnecessary, but useless..
you are going to have to bite the bullet when it comes to calories, and use more than just non-stick spray as a lubricant on the surface.
a good coating of butter or margerine is required to get eggs to not stick.
if you have about 1/8 to 1/4 inch depth of either, your eggs will come out like a dream.
and, as always with all-clad, cleanup is also a dream.
your only alternative is to use a non-stick pan.
