how to clean Farberware Aluminum clad stainless steel cookware?
have an old set of cookware that has been in a cottage. The bottoms have black buildup (grease?) and have been cleaned in well water. Inside has some discoloration.
Steel wool soap pads have NOT done the trick
The discolorations might be permanent, but you might try Bar Keepers’ Friend and a damp scrubby sponge. BKF really cuts through lots of baked on crud. You might also try Krud Kutter, but it’s a pretty caustic chemical so be very careful with it.
