Do you have recipes that need air? Maybe you are making an angel food cake. You might need to whip some cream for dessert. Wire whips will get the job done.

You can get dough hooks for your hand-held mixer. They are very good for breads. They can save you a great deal of time and effort. It is a lot of work to knead bread dough. This will make the job faster and easier.

When buying a new unit, look for a warranty. You will want at least a one year warranty. Many retailers offer the opportunity to extend the warranty. This is usually inexpensive. If you plan on using your mixer a great deal, this is a viable option.
Most mixers may have three speeds. This can be sufficient for your needs. However, you may find some with four or five speeds. They may be worth your consideration. If they are not too expensive, they may a good option.
