Piping bag – Do plastic tips work the same as stainless steel or are the steel tips better?
They both work EXACTLY the same. Only difference is that with a reactive substance like an icing with a high acid content, plastic would be non-reactive, therefore, preferable.
** OKAY april, lets look at this logically. Plastic and stainless are both HARD surfaces…right? All you ask of a piping bag is that it pipes true. Now that we have agreed to that fact, how do we determine that stainless steel is actually a better hard surface than plastic? Can you give a REASON for why stainless would be better than plastic or are you just her friend? BOTH ARE HARD SURFACES THAT PIPE TRUE.
