Is there any way to set IE to block and require a password in order to access certain websites?
A certain someone I live with is virtually ADDICTED to online shopping. The problem is he’s spending more money than he actually has. The credit cards are his, not mine, so I can’t do anything about it on that end, but since he’s not so computer-savvy, he’d just give up on the sites if he couldn’t access them–he’d think they’re “broken”. Anyway, is there a way to block access to the sites so he can’t keep spending himself into deeper and deeper debt?
Tools>>Internet Options>>Content>>Enable>>Approved Sites
And then in the first box, under allow this web site, type the link in and then on the right press NEVER.
Then go to the General tab and click create password. Create the password and then you’re done.
