How do you drain down a sealed central heating system?
I need to widen the pipes ready for a new radiator but have been told the sealed heating system can be tricky or cause damage to the new combi if not drained right.
Just drain it as a normal heating system but make sure the timer isn’t set to come on the hardest bit is re filling cos you have to top the water up the bleed the rads then top up again the bleed the rads ,so on and so on when drained you’ll have no hot water till the boiler is filled back up the water pressure should be about 1.5 bar
