Everything You Need To Know – Easy Japanese Recipes
Are you a fan of Japanese food? Have you been thinking of trying to cook Japanese food on your own, and yet have been hesitant? For many, a sushi roll is an easy Japanese recipe to follow. This is actually a very easy process. First you need to prepare sushi rice. You will need three cups of Japanese rice, three and one-fourth cups of water, one-third cup rice vinegar, three tablespoons of sugar, and a teaspoon of salt.

2 pkg. yeast
1/4 cup warm water (105-115F)
1 1/2 cup lukewarm milk (scalded then cooled)
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/3 cup shortening
5 cups all-purpose flour, divided
Vegetable oil
Creamy Glaze
1/3 cup butter
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 to 6 tablespoons hot water
Chocolate glaze
1/3 cup butter
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 to 6 tablespoons hot water
4 oz. milk chocolate or semi-sweet chips
Using a bamboo rolling mat, place a sheet of nori wrapper, and spread the sushi rice on it. Put the filling on top of the rice-you can use mangoes, cucumber, fish, crabmeat, or any other ingredient that you prefer. Roll the mat, pressing forward. When the mat has completely rolled, unroll it and you will find a long cylindrical-shaped sushi. Cut into small pieces (sushi rolls) and serve right away.
With this, you can make any kind of sushi that you want, by putting in whatever ingredient you want inside the sushi. Notice that the only equipment you needed for this was a bamboo rolling mat, so it is best to get one for yourself. Sushi is an easy Japanese recipe that is sure to be a hit with family and friends
