Why has my local pub stopped doing pints of Coke?
This wound me up something chronic, when I asked for my usual pint of coke the reply was “we only do one size now” and a ridiculously petite glass was presented to me. Right next to the barman was a row of clean, empty, pint glasses but he had obviously been instructed that they were out of bounds! What do they take me for? Do they expect me not to realise that the ploy is to get me to order three times as many drinks to get the same effect. I hope I’m not ranting too much but this has really got my goat. Im almost embaressed on their behalf for how patronising they are being towards their customers. Are we just meant to accept it? Do they expect us to assume that coke is no longer served by the pint due to an incident where a group of hooligans had 8 pints of cola each and then went on a destructive rampage. Are we paying the price for the small minority of coke drinkers who cause trouble and ruin it for the rest of us!! Arrrrgh I’m so MAD!!!!!
the best solution would be not to patronize that establishment.
