Planning The Prefect, Pretty, Pink Barbie Party
Barbie, the iconic, doll, action figure, princess and toy is a symbol that all girls throughout North America know and adore. Her beauty and grace has touched the lives of girls for over 50 years! A simple doll which has caused many conversations about what a girl should be and even what a woman should be. Barbie has even sparked a wide array of imitators and copy-cats that try to be like her. But all little girls know that there is only one true Barbie.
Girls love Barbie not only for her charm and grace but also for her beauty and perfection. Her long blonde hair and beautiful gowns make her a princess that they can dream to be. This year for your little girls birthday you can give her the best Barbie party ever and we’ve started with a few simple pointers.
The first place to start is your party invitations. You want to be sure to plan accordingly and have these ready and sent out at least two weeks prior to the party. The earlier the better, however, not too early as people may forget. The invitations can be as simple as a pink piece of paper with some glitter to something more complex that you have created. If you are struggling for creative ideas then we recommend looking online for creating party invitations as there are plenty of ideas especially for a Barbie themed party!
Any good birthday party and especially Barbie party should have a themed costume. In this case you want to dress up the birthday girl as Barbie with a full gown, Tiara, make-up the whole nine-yards. Make her feel like a princess and is if she’s the doll that she adores. Tell her that she’s the Barbie right now. She’ll probably want to stay like that all day but be sure to have a change of clothes just incase she wants a different outfit.
Next, you’ll want to consider some decorations for the party. With Barbie you’ll want to go with anything pink. Just about anything will do as long as it’s pink. Pink streamers, pink balloons, pink confetti, etc… Lots of decorations, lots of color and lots of sparkle. You want it to be very glamours for her so when planning the decorations spare no expense.
Finally, don’t forget your party favors, food, games and tableware. These are all important pieces of a Barbie themed party. Then after the party be sure to thank all the guests for coming with a thank you note in the mail. They will definitely appreciate this token of gratitude.
Remember, when decorating, planning and hosting a Barbie themed party you’ll have two choices buying your party supplies or creating your own. Creating your own will typically save you money, however, might not turn out quite as well and will take much more time. Buying your supplies doesn’t have to be expensive if you plan accordingly and purchase the necessities. As well, the party supplies will be matched exactly to the Barbie theme, something you know the party girl will appreciate!
