Can I coat a plastic table with polyurethane?
I recently painted a plastic banquet table to use for beer pong. However, I don’t want the table to get messed up by having beer and water spilled on it. I went to Lowe’s and Wal*Mart and checked out some sealants, but stuff like Thompsons says not to use it on paint. So I was wondering what kind of clear-drying waterproof sealant I could use for my table to keep the design from getting too messed up?
What kind of paint did you use to paint the table? That info will help people give you a correct answer.
A spray-on clear urethane is my guess without knowing more.
