I Love Eggs For My Breakfast!
Oh how I do love to eat eggs for breakfast..
Fried egg on toast, I crack one egg in to the pan, then I add two more yolks so I have a triple yolker, I splash the top with the hot oil in the pan, to cook the white on the surface, then serve with three slices of real buttered toast, runny yolk heaven..
Soft boiled with soldiers, I always buy large or extra large eggs, if stored in the fridge then I tend to run them under the hot tap for a few minutes to bring up to room temp. Boil water in pan ‘til there is a rolling boil, then I gently place the eggs in the water and start timing, 4 and 1/2 minutes go by, and its time to take them out and place in a bowl of cool water. Now just slice the top off, to find a lovely runny yolk in the centre. Served with buttered soldiers. I go dippy for this breakfast treat..
Also love folded omelette with ham chunks and cheddar cheese, cooked in real butter, instead of oil, eggs mixed with a drop of milk or two, with plenty of ham and cheese filling, mmmm mmm
When shopping for eggs, I only buy FREE RANGE eggs, a few pence dearer, the least I can do for them kind old hens that give us their yummy eggs to eat…
Eggs, they really are cracking! Hehe only yolking…
