Martini Ornament

What kind of paint will stay on glass?
I bought 2 cute martini glasses that sit on a ball rather than the normal stick stand. They looked like they were sitting on a christmas tree ornament to me, so I got them for a yankee grab gift. But when I got home, I realized that they both had scuff marks all over them, leave it to me not to check. They were the only 2 left in the store, so I can’t go exchange them. So my question is, Can I paint over the existing paint on glass? It is just the ball part that is painted silver, almost like a chrome color. Any suggestions?
Find a hobby shop or art supply store, they`ll have what you need.
