Make Your Drinks Fizzy With SodaStream
In essence SodaStream will turn water into a fizzy drink. The device which allows you to carbonate your drinks and add concentrate in order to flavour them as well was particularly popular in the 70s and 80s. The brand is now looking to make a comeback in the UK for 2010.
The way the machine works is by using a canister of carbon dioxide gas under pressure to force itself into a liquid and make it fizzy. The basic setup comes with the machine, some bottles to put your to be fizzed drink into and of course some canisters of carbon dioxide gas. Of course the carbon dioxide canisters will eventually run out at which till you will want to purchase some refills.
Before you start be sure to ensure that the bottle provided is tightly attached to the main SodaStream machine. The gas will then be released into the machine and due to the pressure within the bottle some of this carbon dioxide will be forced into the water. When using water you will be given seltzer as a result of using the machine. If you want concentrates in different flavours are also available to be added into the machine and give you a flavoured fizzy drink.
In the past you have been able to get concentrate of some of the popular soft drinks still on the market today for your SodaStream machine. These included brands like Fanta and Tizer.
There is also a machine called MilkStream available which can be used to make delicious milkshakes simply and easily. Simply add the ingredients of your milkshake into the machine and you will be presented with a nice and tasty milkshake in a matter of minutes.
SodaStream have setup an advertising campaign for the UK as they look to capture their former glory days. Keep an eye out for SodaStream’s catchy ‘Get Busy with the Fizzy’ slogan which will be in use on this new campaign. The slogan was used for 17 years until 1996.
