Can I use a deep frying pan to cook stir fry instead of a wok?
I did have a wok but all the non stick came off so I binned it. I haven’t replaced it yet.
Anyway is a deep frying pan a good substitute? I have one of those.
Yup, a deep frying pan would work fine.
For your next wok, I highly suggest a carbon steal wok without any non-stick coating. They’re a huge hassle to prep (need to use lacquer thinner on it before you can even use the dang thing), but after that they’re a breeze since you don’t ever have to wash them!
