Why is the flow on our PUR faucet mount system so slow?
Just purchased a PUR model FM-3700B faucet filter system. When s witching from faucet to filter flow decreases significantly. Not sure if placing filter correctly.NOt even sure if might be putting it in upside down. The filter has lettering that says front on it so have that to the front but think it might turn when screwing the top down.I presume the filter is placed with the tapered end down but again not sure.
Paco, You probably put it in right. The reason the water volume decreases so much with those kinds of filters is because the water has to go through the filter and the filter slows the water pressure down.
