An automatic duplexer comes as standard to give you trouble-free double sided printing and copying without any complicated adjustments to the machine.
The Brother 8045D Toner Cartridge can be used with both Windows and Mac, via the USB and parallel ports. It comes with a 32 MB memory and it can be upped to 160 MB if this suits your needs better. This makes it a versatile printer to have in your office, particularly if you have different computers in use.
The DCP 8045D features a flatbed scanner with an optical scan resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi. This will ensure that your scanned images are accurate and clear. You are able to store the image on your computer or print it straight out. The software that comes in the box with the printer includes Scansoft PaperPort SE with OCR for Windows and PageManager for Mac computers.
The reduction/enlargement capability of the copier function of the Brother DCP 8045D is 25% – 400%, and it can operate as a stand alone copier. It will copy and sort your document at a speed of 21 copies per minute.
The Brother DCP 8045D has all the benefits of a multifunction machine with these extra advantages over other printers. There is a standard TN540 toner cartridge supplied with the printer, and this is the toner recommended for this particular machine.
