Using plastic tablecloths at Wedding?
I am getting married in a barn-turned wedding/party venue. I am not doing anything that fancy- clear plastic plates, cups, forks…buffet dinner, sweet tea, lemonade, beer & a cocktail.
I really cant see renting linen tablecloths… would dark brown plastic tablecloths be fine?

the barn inside is wood so the colors look good with the inside.
I think it is whatever you like!!! When I go to weddings, I don’t care about how fancy they are, the only thing I usually notice is how happy they are. A wedding is great, but it is only one day. A marriage is a lifetime, so I think it is great you a trying ot be sensible. Also, if it is a barn-turned party venue, that sounds like it will go along with the decor. White linen might actually look out of place. If you get them on and don’t feel like they are fancy enough, you could always jazz the tables up with a centerpiece. So in other words, GO FOR IT and CONGRATS!
