Are handmade items from thailand worth alot? in the long run?
a friend bought a handmade item in thailand. she went there and bought this elephant ceramic from baan celadon. a store in thailand i guess. it was handmade. any info you can give me is fine 
i might not sell it for a long time because its nice, it was a gift.

Sorry, but it won’t be worth any more than what you would buy at any Pier 1 Import shop. The only reason an item like this would go up in price would be if it were an antique or made from a precious or semi-precious material.
Just being ceramic, it will only go up in sentimental value for yourself. Keep it and enjoy it.
