Best method to seal/season black Chamba bean pot; very porous clay?
I’m not quite sure the best method to seal such a pot….I use stoneware which is very porous too and for a while you will need to brush vegetable oil on the inside surface until it starts to turn a brownish color and once that happens it has begun to “season” and then you will not have to use vegetable oil….do not use the cooking sprays on things like that because the food will still stick because of the texture….just brush it with vegetable oil before each use and go from there
